EXPRESS RECOGNIZED BY TOWN OF STRASBURG

"Last night, Strasburg Mayor Brandy Hawkins Boies proudly signed a proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 12, 2025, as “Strasburg Express Day” in honor of our hometown team’s incredible achievements, both on the diamond and in the community.

Since their founding in 2011, the Strasburg Express have brought excitement, pride, and championship glory to our town, winning Valley Baseball League titles in 2015, 2016, 2021, and now 2025. This year’s championship was sealed in unforgettable fashion with pitchers John Gray and Evan Garcia combining for a no-hitter in a 5–2 victory over the Charlottesville Tom Sox.
 
Beyond their dominance on the field, the Express have given back to Strasburg in countless ways, including volunteering, improving facilities, inspiring our youth, and creating a place for families and fans to gather under the banner of hometown spirit.
 
Congratulations to the players, coaches, volunteers, and fans who make the Strasburg Express a true Strasburg treasure."
